While at Columbia Country Club, the esteemed Bill "Coach" Strausbaugh became Jim's mentor. Jim benefitted greatly from his time with Bill and later as his professional colleague. He was inspired by Bill’s passion for the game of golf, his devotion to his membership, his service to the PGA and the many Professionals who called on him for advice and councel.
Jim places a high personal value on his own mentorship experiences. Fitzgerald Golf Associates has evolved from this experience and Jim's desire to support and elevate the standing of PGA professionals within the golf community.
